The franchisee’s initial investment includes the franchise or license fee (see below), professional site selection, complete assistance with interior layout and design, tenant leasehold negotiations, assistance in purchasing equipment, fixtures and opening inventory, help with staffing, initial training for franchisee and manager and continuous support. We recommend working capital of approximately US$100,000 to US$125,000 for larger spas the first year of operation to cover such things as rent, utilities, payroll and advertising.
